Hammer Museum

Identity

The Hammer Museum is an art museum living in the diverse city of Los Angeles, in which different cultures overlap and gather diverse backgrounds and designs in one place. With this project, I designed a typeface and various narrative poster series that speak to the museum’s spirit: diversity and tolerance. The new logo conceptually shows to bridge the creative community seeking out emerging ideas, bringing them closer to the public.

This poster series is to show the contrast between traditional and contemporary artwork; showing the Hammer's tolerance for various art.

This poster series features a hypothetical photography exhibition called Isolation. My goal is to reinforce their focus on current social issues.
